Architect since 2009 and urban planner since 2011, Tofy Semaan has over 15 years of professional experience spanning sectors and significant city-shaping and regional projects.

Semaan holds a master’s degree in Architecture (M.Arch) and master’s in Urban Planning (MUP).

Throughout his career, Semaan has collaborated with numerous international architecture firms while maintaining a strong independent practice.

As a co-founder of Umbrella Studio, he leads a multidisciplinary approach to architecture and design, fostering innovation and cross-disciplinary design thinking.

Based between Germany and Lebanon, his multilingual skills enable him to seamlessly navigate diverse cultural and professional landscapes, building successful collaborations on an international scale.
